Subject to the following terms and conditions, VINA STAR MOTORS CORPORATION (hereinafter called ”VINASTAR”) warrants that any item of BASIC WARRANTY ITEMS, POWERTRAIN COMPONENTS, ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS and SPECIFIC ITEMS, as each such term is defined below, of the new vehicle manufactured by or for VINASTAR (hereinafter called ”New VINASTAR Vehicle”) will be free from any defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance.

Any part warranted hereunder which proves defective within the warranty period applicable to such part will be repaired or replaced free of charge by any dealer appointed by VINASTAR as authorized dealer, for vehicle manufactured by or for VINASTAR.

This warranty is the only warranty provided by Vinastar
in connection with the new Vinastar vehicle.

BASIC WARRANTY ITEMS, which are every part of the New VINASTAR Vehicle other than POWER TRAIN COMPONENTS, ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, SPECIFIC ITEMS, SPECIAL TRANSACTED ITEMS (as defined below), EXPENDABLES and LUBRICANTS (as defined below) and those items listed in ”NOT COVERED DAMAGE OR CONDITION” section below are warranted for the first 36 months or 100,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first, from when this New VINASTAR Vehicle is first delivered to original purchaser (you) as set forth on the Memorandum of Registration (hereinafter called the ”Warranty Start Date”)

POWER TRAIN COMPONENTS, which are those parts listed below, are warranted for the first 36 months or 100,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first, from the Warranty Start Date.

Transmission power-take-off, speedometer gear, cargo body and cargo cabin originally installed at VINASTAR's factory

Rust and/or corrosion other than perforation (rust through) on cab

SPECIAL TRANSACTED ITEMS, which are those parts listed below, are not covered under this WARRANTY by VINASTAR but by the manufacturer concerned of each such part.

Tire, tube and battery

Air conditioner, Radio, Cassette Stereo and others, other than those originally installed on this New VINASTAR Vehicle

 This WARRANTY does not cover:

• 

Fair wear and tear of any part, normal maintenance service Items and the parts and material used in connection with such service (as described and specified in Your Car Care Plan in this Service Booklet).

• 

Normal deterioration or damage to plated parts, paint coat, rubber parts, upholstery and soft trim caused by daily wear and exposure.

• 

Minor irregularities not affecting quality, performance or function of vehicle or parts thereof (e.q slight noise or vibration) or which appear only abnormal operations.

• 

Damage caused by insufficient or improper maintenance (e.q negligence of the daily and periodic inspection services and maintenance as described in this Service Booklet and Owner’s Handbook included in the New VINASTAR Vehicle).

• 

Damage caused by using a part not provided by VINASTAR and/or being repaired or replaced by any person or any entity other than VINASTAR or Authorized Service Dealers.

• 

Damage caused by traffic accidents, abuse or negligence of the proper handing as set forth in the Owner’s Handbook, misuse of the New VINASTAR Vehicle, use of the New VINASTAR Vehicle under unusual conditions such as in races or rallies, and modifications of or to the New VINASTAR Vehicle or any parts not recommended or approved by VINASTAR.

• 

Damage caused by external influences such as chemical pollution, acid rain, traffic accident, hail, sand, salt, stones, fire or disasters whether due to human fault, negligence or act of God.

• 

Damage in cargo body or cargo cabin by loading.

• 

Incidental or consequential damages such as loss of use of the New VINASTAR Vehicle, loss of time, expenses for fuel, telephone, travel, lodging, legal fees, transportation loss or damage to personal property or commercial loss or loss of revenues.

• 

Any New VINASTAR Vehicle for which the odometer reading has been altered so the mileage cannot be determined.
